Hello, my name is Jaren. I am a senior here at Coon Rapids High School. I’m involved in many activities, these include Jazz I, Jazz II, Marching Band, Pep Band, Raven Street, Bro Canto, Theatre, and News Crew. Outside of school I am involved in an indoor drumline that meets every other weekend. Maybe you’ve seen me around, and maybe you haven’t, but what I do outside of activities revolves around music and art. In my freetime I draw, practice drums, hang out with family, embroider, draw, paint my nails, and do whatever I feel like doing at that given moment. I express myself through what I wear, say, and act like. I, like the majority of high schoolers, procrastinate on everything but somehow still manage to complete whatever it is on time. My favorite bands and artists I listen to are exclusively The Ballroom Thieves and The Growlers. My favorite movies are The Game, Whiplash, Goodwill Hunting, and Interstellar. I want to go to college and major in music. At the moment, I want to be a K-12 music teacher. Once up to middle school or high school, I would like to just teach band. Well, that’s me as of right now. Busy, but still having fun doing whatever I feel like doing.
